Eric Faulconer begins his fifth season at the helm of the Armstrong Atlantic State women's soccer program.

In just four short seasons, Faulconer has compiled a 54-23-5 record for the Pirates. His overall record stands at 122-67-11 in ten seasons.

Last year, the Pirates finished 11-6-3, narrowly missing out on an NCAA Championships berth. Highlights in the season included a last-second 4-3 victory on opening day against eventual NCAA participant Florida Southern; a 3-2 overtime victory at No. 18 Tampa, handing the Spartans just the third loss for the former NCAA National Champions in a span of 47 home matches; and a 2-0 victory over North Georgia in the first round of the PBC Tournament, sending AASU to its fourth straight PBC Semifinals berth.

The third season for the Pirates saw more program firsts as the Pirates earned their first-ever NSCAA Top 25 ranking. AASU debuted in the poll on 9/11 at No. 16 and peaked at No. 8 for two weeks, specnding seven weeks in the poll during the season. AASU finished with a 14-5-1 overall record, advanced to the PBC Championship match for a second straight year and also hosted the program's first-ever NCAA Regional match when the Lady Pirates took on Lincoln Memorial on 9/9.

In just the second season of competition in 2006, Faulconer led the Armstrong Atlantic State women's soccer program to an 18-4-1 record, its first NCAA Championships appearance and a berth in the Peach Belt Conference tournament title match. For his efforts, Faulconer was named the NSCAA South Region Coach of the Year.

The Pirates experienced unprecedented success right out of the gate as a first-year program in 2005, going 11-8 and leading the Peach Belt in scoring.

Faulconer was tabbed to start the Armstrong Atlantic State women's soccer program in 2005 after a successful stint at Thomas University, where he also built the Night Hawks program from scratch, beginning in 1999.

He led the Lady Night Hawks to the NAIA National Championships in 2003, also earning NSCAA Region Coach of the Year honors, and for the last three seasons his Thomas squad was ranked nationally in the NAIA.

Prior to starting the Thomas University women's soccer program, Faulconer was an assistant caoch with the Thomas University men's soccer program during the 1998-99 season. He also served as Deputy Commissioner of the professional Eastern Indoor Soccer League from 1996-98. In addition to his duties at Thomas, Faulconer also served as the Director of Girls Player Development for the Tallahassee United Futbol Club and on the staff with the Tallahassee-based Warner Soccer. Faulconer holds a USSF National B License and is a member of the Florida and Georgia Youth Soccer Association Olympic Developmental coaching staff.

Born in New Jersey, Faulconer's family moved to Naples, Florida, in 1979. He graduated from Florida State University with a bachelor's degree in political science in 1992 and a master's degree in public administration in 1996, with additional graduate course work in sports administration. Eric and his wife, Ginger, have two sons, Zachary and Ethan.

Leeanna Woodworth begins her second season as an assistant coach on Eric Faulconer's women's soccer staff at AASU. Woodworth was elevated to asssistant coach prior to the 2008 season after serving the last two years as a volunteer assistant coach.

The 2004 Atlantic Sun Player of the Year for Gardner-Webb, Woodworth enjoyed a standout career for the Bulldogs, earning CoSIDA Academic All-America honors as a senior while also earning Atlantic Sun All-Conference honors three times.

The all-time leader in points, goals and assists for the Bulldogs, Woodworth tallied 49 goals and 37 assists from 2002-2005, good for 153 career points. She also holds the single-season goals (22) and assists (15) record, which she set in 2004.

Woodworth graduated from Gardner-Webb in 2005 with a bachelor's degree in sports management.

A native of Virginia Beach, Va., Woodworth currently resides in Savannah.

Hilary George begins her third season as a volunteer assistant coach for the Pirates in 2009. George's primary responsibility is working with the AASU goalkeepers.

George graduated from Gardner-Webb with her bachelor's degree in communication studies in 2004, and also earned her master's degree in sport science and pediagogy in 2006.

A NSCAA All-American goalkeeper for Gardner-Webb in 2001, George started all four seasons in goal for the Bulldogs. She also served as an assistant soccer coach at Avon Lake High School in Ohio in 2003, and has also served as an instructor for Kiko's Dribbling Camp.
