Karmen Graham joins the Armstrong Atlantic State women's basketball coaching staff as head coach Matt Schmidt's assistant for the 2009-10 season.

Graham comes to AASU from Ashland University, where she served as a graduate assistant during the 2008-09 season. While at Ashland, she coordinated film exchange, conducted individual workouts and was involved with recruiting for the Lady Eagles, who went 17-11 overall and 13-9 in the GLIAC.

A graduate of Northern Kentucky University with her bachelor's degree in education, Graham was a four-year standout for the Norsewomen, helping lead NKU to three NCAA Championships appearances. A Kodak/WBCA Division II Honorable Mention All-American honoree in 2005-06, Graham finished her career as the 19th leading scorer in NKU history, as well as ranking in the top 10 in free throw percentage (3rd) and field goal percentage (7th). Graham also played for coach Schmidt 

While at NKU, Graham assisted with head coach Nancy Winstel's individual and team camps all four years. After graduating, she served as an assistant varsity coach at Highlands HS in Fort Thomas, Ky., for the 2007-08 season prior to joining the Ashland staff.

A native of Kettering, Ohio, Graham played high school ball at Kettering Fairmont HS and was a two-time All-Conference honoree.
