Chris Wolfe Earns All-PBC Men's Golf Honors


CARTHAGE, N.C. - Senior Chris Wolfe has earned All-Peach Belt Conference Men's Golf honors for the fourth time in his career, as the league's All-Conference teams were announced this evening at the annual awards banquet prior to the 2009 PBC Men's Golf Championships.

Wolfe becomes the first AASU men's golfer to earn All-PBC honors four times in one career. The Warner Robins, Ga., native recorded a team-best 73.1 stroke average in 22 rounds this season and recorded three top 5 finishes and six top 10 finishes this season. The 2008 PBC Player of the Year and a GCAA/DII All-American last season, Wolfe will lead the Pirates into the 2009 PBC Championships tomorrow, taking place at the Little River Golf Resort in Carthage, N.C.
