Hall Named Assoc. Dir. of Athletics for Compliance & Student Services


SAVANNAH, Ga. - The Armstrong Atlantic State athletic department announced today the hiring of Jason Hall as Associate Director of Athletics for Compliance and Student Services. 

Hall joins the Pirates from Eastern Illinois University, where he has served as an Assistant AD for Compliance and Academic Services for the last three years. A native of Nashville, Tenn., Hall will begin his duties at AASU on August 3.

"I am extremely excited to be a part of Armstrong Atlantic," Hall said. "The coaches and staff are hard working, dedicated people who put their student-athletes at the forefront of everything they do. I look forward to being a small part of AASU's continued and growing success in the coming years."

Hall graduated from Belmont University with a bachelor's degree in physical education in 1993, then earned his master's in sport management from Austin Peay State University in 1996. He worked in the compliance offices at Syracuse and Florida State before returning to his alma mater of Belmont to oversee that school's sport administration program from 2000-2004.

In 2004, he was brought in at Florida A&M University as the interim assistant AD for compliance to help shepherd the Rattler program through an NCAA inquiry. He was hired at Eastern Illinois University in 2005.

Hall becomes the first full-time employee in the Armstrong Atlantic State athletic department in charge of compliance. AASU is a member of NCAA Division II and is a charter member of the Peach Belt Conference.
