Dr. Spencer Wheeler is the medical director and team physician for Armstrong Atlantic's athletic teams. Dr. Wheeler completed his medical school training at the Medical College of Georgia in 1985, and his orthopaedic training at the University of Florida. Wheeler served two sports medicine fellowships; one at Johns Hopkins Institute and one in Sydney, Australia. Dr. Wheeler served as the head of athletic care in Atlanta for the 1996 Summer Olympics.
