
Amy Simmons begins her first year at Armstrong Atlantic State as a graduate assistant athletic trainer.
The Federalsburg, Md., native recently completed her bachelor's of science degree in athletic training from High Point University. While a member of the Panther athletic department, Simmons worked with men's and women's indoor and outdoor track and field, men's and women's soccer, volleyball, baseball and men's and women's cross country, while also assisting with coverage of the Lucy Ragsdale HS football program.
A student member of NATA and MAATA, Simmons is currently
pursuing her master's degree in sports medicine from AASU.
