
Daniel Hinely enters his third season as head athletic trainer for the Pirates. A graduate of Valdosta State University in 2003 with a bachelor's degree in sports medicine, Hinely became familiar with the Peach Belt Conference by completing his master's degree in physical education from GCSU in 2005.
Hinely joins AASU from Belmont Abbey College, where he served as an assistant trainer in 2005-06. While at BAC, Hinely provided gameday coverage for women's soccer, men's basketball, men's tennis and lacrosse while helping provide daily training needs to more than 260 student-athletes for the Crusaders. Hinely is certified with the ATC and is a member of both the National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA) and the Georgia Athletic Trainers' Association (GATA).
