PBC Opens Nominations For 20 Years, 20 Games

AUGUSTA, Ga. - The Peach Belt Conference wants to know - what's the greatest game you've ever seen between Peach Belt members?
As the PBC celebrates its 20th anniversary, the league will be recognizing the 20 Greatest Games ever played in the conference and is seeking help in identifying those games. A form on the Peach Belt website invites any fan to submit, from now until October 16, a worthy game for the list of the Top 20 games.
As Pirate fans, what is the greatest game that AASU has participated in? Is it Tishay Lewis' "Shot Heard 'Round The Peach Belt" three-pointer giving the Lady Pirates a 56-55 win over Columbus State in the 2003 PBC Women's Basketball Championship game? How about the AASU baseball team's 5-2 win over USC Aiken, playing 22 innings in one day to capture the 2007 PBC Tournament? Or even the quadruple-overtime battle between AASU and USC Aiken in last year's PBC men's basketball tournament in Aiken?
The only criteria is that it is a game featuring two PBC schools in the regular season, PBC Tournament or NCAA Regionals.
Visit the nomination page here: http://www.peachbelt.com/information/20in20/nominationform and let your voice be heard!
The PBC will reveal the top 20 games, one a week, beginning in January of 2010.
